winter activities: warm-ups and cool downs
During the winter months, our patients enjoy outdoor sports such as skiing, skating, and snowshoeing. As these sports include a lot of movements that our bodies may not be used to throughout other seasonal activities, performing warm-ups and cool-down stretches help prepare our bodies in order to not only boost performance but also avoid injuries. Our physiotherapist Sonia demonstrates below some great warm-up stretches and exercises to keep you enjoying your winter sports!
