yu wang-Acupuncture

DEC d’acupuncture Collège Rosemont - membre de l’Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec

Mr. Wang is from China, the birthplace of acupuncture. In 2023, he earned his DEC in acupuncture from Collège Rosemont and became a member of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec. Over the past two years, he has provided over 4,000 acupuncture treatments to at least 300 clients, helping them relieve pain, improve their sleep, and improve their quality of life.

Before immigrating to Canada, acupuncture was both familiar and foreign to him. It was familiar because he had often seen and heard about this treatment method in his life. He had seen with his own eyes how acupuncture had instantly eliminated his grandmother's pain. It was foreign because he himself had never received acupuncture treatment. When he arrived in Montreal and learned that he could learn acupuncture here, he decided to change his profession completely.

In fact, Mr. Wang was a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) engineer in China. His previous job was to create a comfortable environment for people: warm but not dry in winter, cool but not humid in summer. It seems that his previous job and acupuncture are completely incomparable, but he finds essential similarities between the two professions: HVAC engineers use pipes to transport cool or hot air into the room through cooling or heating, maintaining a thermal balance inside and outside the building so that people inside can experience the appropriate temperature and humidity.

Acupuncture uses fine needles to operate on human meridians to regulate the balance of cold and heat within the body, eliminate dampness, and achieve a balance of Yin and Yang within the body. He takes great pride in being an acupuncturist and being able to help those in need. His greatest joy is when a client tells him they've improved.
